West Valley City • Michael Pelech scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season at home at the Maverik Center, but it wasn’t enough to help the Utah Grizzlies (2-3-1) fight back against the Colorado Eagles (4-2-0) on Friday night as they fell to the Eagles 6-2.

West Valley City • Down one goal with under two minutes left, Utah had one last power-play opportunity to send the game into overtime, but lost a third straight game against Colorado 4-3.


The fifth game in 11 was a tense one between the Grizzlies (2-4-1) and the Eagles (5-2-0) on Saturday night. Both teams ended up in the penalty box, fights broke out and the game was back and forth all night.

Power play goals, and a defensive presence helps Utah defeat Colorado 3-2

West Valley City –Michael Colvecchia and Vinny Scarsella added two power play goals on Wednesday night with the defensive pressure that helped the Grizzlies (2-1-1-0) prevail over the Colorado Eagles (2-2-0-0) in a 3-2 victory.

Weber State starts a new era in football

The Weber State Wildcats are starting to make some noise as the football team looks to prove all the critics wrong about the up-and-coming season.

New conference rules affect Big Sky volleyball this season

The beginning of the new season is near for the Weber State volleyball team as they look to improve upon their 2013 finish. However, this season the Big Sky Conference will feature some new format changes for volleyball.


With the University of Idaho rejoining the conference, there will be 12 volleyball teams in the Big Sky Conference. The league and coaches voted on splitting the conference into two, six-team divisions.

Coach Peterson looks for success in fourth season
